ALL T&Cs are for all our benefit & clarification, insurance, fire, H&S safety.
Cancellation prior to arrival. If relet for full period of your booking a refund less 10% admin charge may be given, at Proprietor’s discretion.

There is no refund for late arrivals, early departure or inclement weather and regret no transfers or if you transgress the camp site rules.
Arrival: 2pm – 8pm We cannot accept arrivals after dark.
Departures: By 12 noon please
Exclusively for adults. Tents only. Couples or solo campers welcomed. max 2 adults per tent (18 years +)
Minimum stay 2 nights.
This is a quiet peaceful friendly camp site for relaxation:
TARIFF reflects I only have 10 pitches with 1 or 2 adults per pitch. The reduced number here is kept all season, hence it’s uniqueness. There are cheaper camp sites so look around if you prefer to pay less – before booking. Tariff from £25 per pitch for 1 or 2 adults.
NO GROUPS of any size, no 2 or more units travelling together or meeting up on site with friends & family having booked separately please. More than 2 people is considered a group here. This rule is strictly applied so if you need any clarification please ask now before booking. No day visitors on site please.
CARS Please give your registration, make and colour at booking. No large commercial vans, no motor homes, no caravans, no high sided vans. The occasional VW T2,T5 at our discretion and only with prior permission prior to booking. Park sideways on the field for safety and after dark use car parks – use tarred car park after dark. If you have a van and are unsure, please ask.
LIVE ON LINE BOOKING – Regret no walk ins. Pitch numbers are for our admin purposes – pitch where you like after check in with the 6m/19′ rule between tents for fire safety and not to crowd other tents. This is a spacious field with room for all 10 tents to pitch.
TENT SIZE no larger than a normal 6 man tent (not exceeding 15′ wide x 20′ long or 4m wide x 6m long)
CHECK IN AT RECEPTION (front door of main house) on arrival (arrivals 2pm – 8pm)

Tariff is per night per pitch for 1 or 2 adults and includes a picnic bench per pitch & tent (no bigger than 6 man) (no Safari as too large)
Tariff includes shower rooms, campers kitchen with fridge/freezers, washing up & wooden picnic bench, wind break, small gazebo. Pup tent a small extra charge. Regret we cannot accommodate pets, children, group bookings, motor homes, commercial vehicles, camper vans, caravans or campfires that burn the grass. (your own BBQs, Fire Pits welcome). Free wi fi (though if for any reason it is not working we cannot offer any refund for this element of your booking).
No noise after dark and no music at all please or you will be asked to leave immediately with no refund.
Please use recycling provided and take your equipment home with you at the end of your stay.
All payment must be made in full at time of booking using the secure server or it cancels automatically after a few hours.
Confirmation e mail with all our contact numbers given after payment received (usually within 24 hours).
Bookings are nominative, not transferable.
Access: not suitable for those with impaired mobility or wheel chair users as steps to shower room.
You may pitch where you like on the field and park your car sideways on next to tent and/or after dark use campers car park.
Foodstuffs left in fridge/freezers and mobiles left charging are responsibility of owner if left unattended. We are fortunate that there have not been any thefts so far – and CCTV is on campers kitchen door and shower room steps for your safety. Thermometers in each fridge.
No Camp fires that “burn Grass” bring your own BBQ. Fire extinguishers and fire buckets provided and First Aid box at Reception.
You may park next to your tent or if field wet or slippery there are campers car parks which we may request you use.
After dark for obvious safety reasons please use tarred car park. No driving on field after dark at all please.
STEPS to shower facilities and lip step into kitchen.
Good public area sensor lighting but please carry and use a torch at all times after dark.
No tarred paths on field – all grass and may be uneven in parts. Use a torch after dark.
Dip at entrance to our drive. Drive at walking pace at all times.
Walk with care as field has dips from old mole & rabbit holes. Use a torch after dark.
We have no control over the traditional farming activities that go on in the area.
Proprietor cannot be responsible for any damage or loss to either you, your possessions or vehicle when on site.
Please ask us at Reception to move a bench as they are heavy. There are 10 benches scattered so you have a choice of where to pitch.
No Chinese lanterns please.
Please bring a luminous jacket and torch for walk to Pub (3 minutes). Please note there is no pavement, no street lighting on walk to pub.
Please consider bringing your own first aid kit. We have one at Reception.
Please bring suitable footwear for field (dewy mornings!) and shower/wet room.
Please use slabs provided for disposable BBQs
Taxi numbers & useful information on web site.
No Day Guests as our insurance is for a set number of people on site.
Carbon Monoxide fumes can kill so please use BBQs sensibly in open air and not in tent or awnings.
Any complaint or accident on site must be made known to us immediately as they cannot be entertained after departure.We would like to the opportunity to rectify any complaints so please let us know before you depart.
Any damage must be reported immediately and paid for. By entering in to a booking with us you authorise us to charge your card for any damage.
If we are unable to open or have to close due to fire damage, flooding, then a full refund will be given and no further compensation can be claimed (i.e. travel or associated costs). Fortunately we are on a slight slope with cutaways that drain and are usually able to keep open – we would make every effort to contact you should there be a “force majeure” – however we would not be liable for anything other than a refund of camping monies paid in such an event.
